mineral colours and gold on paper, with silk borders and a black-
lacquered frame, painted in the Kano style, depicting three red-crested
cranes, one in flight among flowering branches of plum and pine; two
standing on the hillocks overgrown with kumazasa (Sasa veitchii);
unsigned. Overall: 326.4cm x 157.5cm (128½in x 62in);
