no.13, from the series Furyu Enshoku
Mane’emon (Elegant Erotic Mane’emon),
depicting a courtesan and her client relaxing
on a futon, the miniature man Mane’emon
watching them from between the legs of the
Chinese lacquer stand, unsigned, 20.5cm x
27.5cm (8 1/8in x 10 13/16in); the second
attributed to Shiba Kokan, probably from the
series Mamesuke (Bean Man), depicting a
geisha and a client engaged in conversation
while the geisha applies colour to her lips,
Mamesuke watching them while standing on
a domed cosmetic box, unsigned,
