of the pattern, excavated from a late Spring and Autumn period tomb in Baoji, Shaanxi province, published in Liu Yunhui, Shaanxi
chutu dongzhou yuqi [Eastern Zhou jades excavated from Shaanxi], Taipei, 2006, pls. BY29-BY34; and another from the Winthrop
Collection, now in the Harvard Art Museum, Cambridge, attributed to late Eastern Zhou period, 400-300 BC, illustrated in Jenny F.
So, Early Chinese Jades in the Harvard Art Museums, Cambridge, 2019, pl. 33, where the author suggests that the dense pattern
on these rings might have been executed by a compound machine.
此類玉飾極為罕見,唯見一極近例,現藏台北國立故宮博物院,錄其官網,館藏編號001154-N000000000。據其博物館描述,此類飾
作為固定帶扣之用。目前存世另知一類東周玉環飾,同雕扭絲紋,但中央無縱桿,見於各大博物館及私人收藏,如六件環例,尺寸及扭絲
紋密度各有不同,於陝西寶雞春秋末期秦墓出土,載劉雲輝,《陝西出土東周玉器》,台北,2006年,圖版BY29至BY34;另見一例,
Winthrop收藏,現存哈佛藝術博物館,劍橋,斷代東周末,載蘇芳淑,《Early Chinese Jades in the Harvard Art Museums》,劍橋,
2019年,圖版33,筆者認為如此縝密的紋飾可能是由複合工具製成。
