SHAYBANID BALKH OR BUKHARA, DATED Mahmud ibn Ishaq al-Shahabi was taken to KIRMAN, SOUTH EAST IRAN,
AH 983/1575-76 AD Bukhara after the city fell to ‘Ubaydallah Khan in 17TH CENTURY

leaves, each folio with 12ll. of elegant black nasta'liq arranged in two columns
with headings in red ink, within orange, gold and blue rules, catchwords,
opening folio with gold and blue headpiece, colophon signed and dated,
in elegant contemporaneous binding with flap with blind tooled panels,
doublures in brown leather with decoupé arabesque medallion with pendants
and spandrels over blue panels
