CARVING OF TWO CRANES
19TH CENTURY
The carving depicts two cranes seated side-by-
side, their heads facing in different directions and
with a leafy branch bearing two peaches draped
across their backs.

JADE ARCHAISTIC DISCS
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
One is carved in low relief on one side with
four stylized bovine masks and on the reverse
with C-scrolls arranged in four segments. One is
carved on both sides with bands of C-scrolls and
bosses that encircle a pierced, rotating fower head
in the center. The third is carved on one side with
C-scrolls arranged in four segments and on the
reverse with a tiny bosses.

JADE FIGURE OF A SEATED DOG
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The dog is shown seated with head turned
backwards, and is detailed with fne hair
markings on the brows and tripartite tail,
a hole for stringing is drilled between the
forelegs. The russet areas are highly polished.
