                                                A WHITE JADE LOCK-FORM PLAQUE
                                                18TH-19TH CENTURY
                                                The plaque is well carved in openwork with the scrolling bodies of two dragons that
                                                fank a panel carved in low relief on one side with peony growing amidst rocks and on
                                                the reverse with a fruiting and fowering pomegranate branch, the ends of the dragons’
                                                tails support a small bat and a bar joins the backs of their outward-facing heads.
                                                The semi-translucent stone is of even color.
