A FINE WHITE JADE SNUFF BOTTLE
Possibly Imperial, attributed to Palace
Workshops, Beijing, 1750-1820
Impressively well-hollowed, the carefully
shaped spade-form bottle with a short
waisted neck, the recessed wide lip and
conforming foot finely polished, its body
covered with raised bosses and wrapped
with a brocade sash carved with exquisite
floral diapers and tied to one side with a
trailing ribbon; evenly-toned white stone.
