A MOTTLED PALE GREEN JADEITE RETICULATED CENSER AND COVER
19TH-20TH CENTURY
The censer is carved and pierced around the mouth rim with a band of stylised chilong between a pair of
intricate winged mythical beast-head handles with loose rings. The tall flared foot is embellished with four
animal-head loops with further loose rings. The reticulated cover is decorated with a wide band of chilong
confronting a flaming pearl below bands of scrolling foliage and a spherical finial carved with further loose
rings.
