The exterior of the bowl is decorated with large stylised shou characters, The dish is decorated in shades of bright cobalt blue with a central roundel
interspersed with bats and surrounded by foliage. enclosing a pair of confronting male and female phoenix amongst clouds
5 1/4 in. (13.3 cm.) diam. and fire scrolls within double circles, the exterior with two phoenix in flight
amongst clouds.
