The rectangular box with rounded corners and fush-ftting cover in the form of
a box tied inside a folded furoshiki [Japanese wrapping cloth], decorated in gold
hiramaki-e and a greenish-black lacquer togidashi on a nashiji ground, depicting
cherry blossoms and maple leaves, nashiji interior, fundame rims

including Genji monogatari [The Tale of Genji] and Taketori monogatari [The Tale of
the Bamboo Cutter and the Moon Princess] against a nashiji ground, nashiji interior,
fundame rims
