19th/20th century
Comprising a silver model of a samurai helmet, applied
with a ring himotoshi; a circular copper manju netsuke
finished in a mokume design; a silvered manju netsuke
decorated in openwork coiling vines; a copper manju
netsuke pierced with insects on flowering plants; a
rounded-square copper manju netsuke finished in a
simulated woven-bamboo design; a rounded-square
brass manju netsuke decorated in gilt-overlays with floral
and geometric designs; an iron flint netsuke decorated
with flowers in silver takazogan; an ox-horn netsuke
carved as a stirrup, applied with a silver ring himotoshi

treasure sack; an official in court dress in a deep bow;
a seated shishi (lion) with its mouth open in a snarl; a
slender standing Kanzan (Hanshan), a slender model
of Kan’u on a horse; the wood netsuke comprising a
man seated with a bottle to his lips, his eyes inlaid in
dark horn; a model of Fukurokuju holding a staff and a
handscroll, a fan hanging on his back; a man struggling
under the weight of Daruma on his back, signed
Gyokuzan
