Edo period (1615-1868) or Meiji era (1868-1912), 19th/20th century
Comprising an oval metal manju decorated with flowering vines in
cloisonné-enamels; a wood netsuke carved as a lotus pod, the seeds free
moving, signed Koun to; an iron manju netsuke decorated with figures
beneath a pine tree decorated in iro-e takazogan, the reverse carved in
openwork with scrolling vines; a circular cloisonné-enamel manju netsuke
with floral designs; a dark wood netsuke inlaid with an iron frog, the eyes
gilt; a cloisonné-enamel manju netsuke with stylized flower blossoms; a fruit-
nut netsuke carved as a basket of flowers, signed Masahide; dark wood
manju netsuke inlaid with a peonies in mother-of pearl; a wood study of two
persimmons on a branch; a wood manju netsuke decorated with a hare in
ivy in gold hiramaki-e and inlaid mother-of pearl
