MEIJI PERIOD, LATE 19 TH -20 TH CENTURY
the rectangular cabinet with hinged door, decorated
in gold hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and kirigane, depicting
an Imperial garden with cherry blossom, the interior
of the door with a gissha [ox carriage] amongst maple
trees and autumn flowers, each drawer in togidashi-e
with geometric motifs, applied with silver fittings of
chrysanthemums engaged with chrysanthemums, with
fitted wood box
