Incised Guangxu six-character mark and of the period
The sturdily potted vessel standing on a tall foot rising to a rounded
lower body with moulded peach-shaped medallions to the wide sides,
narrowing to a lobed neck flanked by tubular handles, covered overall
in a rich red glaze turning to purple and black in places, and thinning
to a crackled transparent colour at the edges and mouth. 29.5cm (11
