Comprising: a large, deep bowl, covered
overall in a bluish celadon glaze with slip-inlaid
designs of grapes to the interior and floral
roundels to the exterior; a shallow bowl with
crackle olive-green glaze and inlaid slip floral
decoration to the interior; and four other
various celadon bowls; together with a deep-
sided celadon-glazed bowl, probably Japan.
The largest: 20cm (7 7/8in) diam. (7).

The bowl of octagonal form, inlaid in white
and iron slip with panels of twin flower sprays;
the pear-shaped vase inlaid with two large
flower sprays on leafy stems. The vase 22cm

TWO KOREAN STONEWARE VASES
Joseon Dynasty, late 19th century
The first of faceted ovoid form with everted
dish shaped rim, painted in underglaze
blue with a leafy chrysanthemum spray; the
second a crackle glazed baluster jar with three
lug handles to the shoulder, decorated with
three leafy flowering plants. The tallest 30cm
(11.3/4in) high. (2).
