The exterior depicting a narrative scene with
a gentleman at the doorway of a dwelling
brandishing a sword towards a winged
character, the reverse with a gathering of
gentleman and armed guards in a garden
setting, the interior with goldfish amongst
aquatic plants, set on a spreading lobed foot
with bats amongst waves and rockwork,
wood stand. 25.5cm (10in) wide. (2).

STEM DISH
Tongzhi six-character mark and of the period
The dish enamelled below a cloud collar with
the bajixiang around a central medallion of
a butterfly above two melons, encircled by
a lappet band, the exterior with a landscape
scene, the short, wide foot with tumultuous
waves between two red and gilt bands.

With twin peach spray finials, decorated with
panels of river landscape scenes, on lemon
