A ROSEWOOD HORSESHOE-BACK FOLDING CHAIR
19th/20th century
The curved backrest supported by a reticulated back
splat with a qilin amidst clouds below a shaped cartouche
enclosing a stylised dragon, all above reverse brackets joined
to the back seat stretcher and extending to the front rail
pin hinged with the back rail extending from the front seat
stretcher ending in two block feet and a foot rest mounted
with a central brass plaque. 111cm (43 3/4 inches) x 74cm
(29 1/8 inches) x 72cm (28 1/4inches)

A PAIR OF DEMILUNE HARDWOOD TABLES
Late 19th century
Each semi-circular top with galleried apron carved
in shallow relief with bats and scrolling lotuses, with
pierced and carved dragon stretcher above a footrest
with crackled ice design, the two tables with pegs to the
reverse, conjoining the two into a circular table. Each
87cm high x 127cm wide x 63.5cm deep (2).
