                                                                              One of the paintings is the portrait of the famous
                                                                              historian, poet and official of the Tang Dynasty, Han
                                                                              Yu. He was a strong influence in the development
                                                                              of Neo-confucianism, which became state ideology
                                                                              in Korea from the Joseon Dynasty, after being
                                                                              introduced by An Hyang in the Goryeo Dynasty.
