Give pure happiness in leisure, temperance in
every pleasure, Holy use of earthly treasure, Verse 5
bodies clean and spirits bright. Thou who art our Captain ever lead us on to
great endeavor; may thy Church the world
Verse 3 deliver, give us wisdom, courage, might.
Lift from this and every nation al that brings us
degradation; quell the forces of temptation; put Verse 6
thine enemies to flight. Father, who hast sought and found us,
Son of God, whose love has bound us,
Verse 4 Holy Spirit, in us, round us,
Be with us, thy strength supplying, that with Hear us, Godhead infinite. Amen.
