HIGHER ED: ASSESSMENT AND ANALYSIS

North Carolina Central University
• Through our partnership with the NCIMED (North
Carolina Institute for Minority Economic
Development) the BWC team was engaged to conduct
a comprehensive enterprise assessment.

• Our review uncovered both structural imbalances as
well as underperforming metrics and enterprises.

• Our recommendation was to restrict new debt –
resulting in the institution pulling a multi-million RFP.

• Established P&L’s for all ten auxiliary enterprises for
more accountability and increased profitability.

• These efforts led to an assessment of athletics, which
quantified and clarified how to operate the operations
and the impact of projected programmatic changes.

• BWC’s process and engagements drive action and we
deliver insights, models, and the operationalization of
solutions and visions.
