Texas College

Sponsor seeks to rehab and make tenant improvements
in support of the operations of the business at Historic

Martin Hall.
The result will transform the existing administrative building, into a modern
comprehensive 21 Administrative Academic Center (AAC). The AAC will
st
assist first generation, low wealth Black and Hispanic individuals with
overcoming deficiencies that impinge upon academic and career growth.
Identify Potential Funding Sources:

State of Texas Historic Tax Credits- 25 Cents Rebate
Project and Site NMTC Eligible - $2 million in equity
Integrate environmentally sustainable features in the

period – windows and lighting
Use as a tool to attract partners and scholarship funding
–May 2019 received first $100,000 commitment for Texas College: Before
