Jemi Onyejiaka

Jemi started off her professional career over 12
years ago in Nigeria in the banking sector
working across various teams in the Treasury
Division. She then joined FMDQ OTC Securities
Exchange where she worked in the Regulatory

Compliance Group before moving on to lead
Market Services Group responsible for data
analysis and reporting, market and systems

support.

She arrived in Canada with her husband and
two kids in July 2018 and was able to relaunch
her career in Canada with BMO Capital Markets

through the Women in Capital Markets (WCM)
Return to Bay Street (RTBS) Program. She is a
2019 RTBS Award Recipient.

Jemi is currently pursuing the CFA designation,
is an Associated Charted Accountant of Nigeria,
holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is
an active member of the Black Female

Accountants Network.
