WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

message from our founder

I am delighted to welcome you to Black Female Accountants Network's Women in

Leadership Summit on Connecting Leaders and Empowering each other.

We talk about what led to the launch of our network, its mission and vision and
accomplishments to date. Next will be the morning keynote presentation by Simone
Atungo, Chief Executive Officer. Marcela Chein will share some network best practices.

Next a panel discussion with leaders from Alliance pour une Communauté Éducative
Inclusive (Alice Fomen), Black Female Lawyers Network (Ingrid Minott), Exatec Ontario
(Marcela Chein), Manyatta Network (Angela Khakali), Unstoppable Me (Liliana Nakamura).

There will be the afternoon keynote presentation from Lori-Ann Beausoleil, Partner, PwC. A
panel discussion will follow with Erica King (Senior Director, RBC), Juliette Henry CPA (Vice
President, CITCO), Lianne Hannaway CPA, CA (Board Director, Humber College, CAUFP),
Sandra Smith CPA, CA (Director, Sales tax Advisory, Ryan ULC), Sharon Barnes-Simmonds

CPA, CGA, FCCA MBA (Director, Finance Christian Children's Fund of Canada).

We will take immense pride in honouring our members who have been nominated for MSN

(Members Supporting the Network) Champion recognition and all ladies who have
volunteered within our network since launch.. Ladies who have volunteered in multiple
capacities ("3X, 4X and 4X+ Volunteers") will receive additional recognition.

Thanks to all the external speakers and presenters who have supported us to date, in

addition to our internal speakers and presenters from the network. Also our sponsors Ryan
ULC, TD Bank, as well as our supporters Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Counci,
The Change Leadership, JVS Toronto, CIMA Canada. Thank you to all our volunteers,

without them investing their precious personal time and working together as a team, none
of what has been achieved since 2016 would have been possible.
