Jordan Schick, RN, Cardiac Cath Lab Supervisor, provided entertaining “Let’s Move” breaks, and during lunch leaders browsed the Book Exchange table to pick up a book brought in by another leader. Each book carried a signed personal message about what the donor found inspiring about the book.
“Take Ten” Love Matters Sessions were presented by Richard Kirchner, Director, and Joel Pedrina, Supervisor, Facilities, on “Utilizing Triads to Empower Associates”; Kylee Chan, Executive Assistant, on “Being a Mission Owner”; and Jesse Seibel on “Community Connections”.
Kathy Raethel ended the day by relating her own personal story of her early experience being hospitalized in Australia as a child, the nun she met there who inspired her, and how that experience influenced her decision to become a nurse and ingrained in her
the importance of compassionate, quality healthcare.
