Congratulations to our 2019 pumpkin Decorating Contest winners!
Here are the winners of Castle’s Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Congratulations to everyone for their creativity and effort.
First Prize went to Castle Home Care for their “Pumpkin Home Visit.” The department won a round cake and two pies for Thanksgiving.
Second Prize went to Human Performance for their “Aladdin’s Genie in the Lamp.” Human Performance won a pie for Thanksgiving.
Third Prize went to the Intensive Care Unit for their “Salute to Our Armed Forces.” The department won two pies for Thanksgiving.
Community Connections
Adventist Health Castle participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Honolulu at Kapiolani Park. Staff from Imaging, Wellness & Lifestyle Medicine and Human Performance as well as John Nagamine, MD, were on hand with their family and friends with a booth on race day. The event raises funds for breast cancer awareness, research and cures.

Week, Oct. 21-23. Dr. Bryan shared personal stories about heroes in his life, love stories and stories of origin. Everyone has a story, Dr. Bryan said, and charged associates to use their stories to encourage and inspire others. Mission Week ended with a “blessing of the hands,” which was offered on each hospital floor.
