Castle celebrates National Healthcare Evironmental Sevices Week and National Security Officer Appreciation Week
Adventist Health Castle honored its Environmental Services and Security staff in September with special meal deliveries. The second week in September is National Healthcare Environmental Services Week, and the third week in September is National Security Officer Appreciation Week.
Castle's Security Department keep associates, patients and visitors safe and secure by monitoring our campus, and responding to everything from jumping a car battery to a Code Gray (Combative Person).
The Security staff daily exhibit these attributes that contribute to a safe campus:
• They are alert
• They abide by a code of honesty
• They portray a clean professional image
• They have good communication skills
• They are detail oriented and able
to perform multiple tasks and still remember necessary details.
Castle's Environmental Services ensures that our facilities are safe, comfortable
and clean all year long. These dedicated associates provide outstanding services. Their knowledge and skill not only keep Castle's facilities running smoothly, they help support positive patient outcomes.
Because of their tireless attention to maintaining a clean, safe environment, our medical professionals can focus on medical concerns. They are the frontline defense against serious infections throughout our facilities. Remember to thank them and show your appreciation when you see them.
