Our Second Century Campaign
For more than 100 years the Jewish Home has played a vital role in our community, beginning as a home for orphans and transitioning to become a key resource in the lives and care of older adults. This journey has brought us from Jersey City to Bergen County, from a single facility to the campuses that house the Jewish Home at Rockleigh and Jewish Home Assisted Living today.
This path has led us to develop new programs to treat specialized populations, enhance wellness, support aging in community, and so much more. Throughout our history, all of these changes have been based on one thing — understanding and meeting the needs of older adults. As we look to the future, we know that our journey is ongoing.
The population of older adults is growing, living longer and both requiring and desiring different services. Tomorrow’s care will not look like today’s and it certainly will not look like yesterday’s. That is why it has been so important for us to move forward with our Second Century project.
