Loch Ness in the Scotsh Highlands

Then it was of to the rugged Scotsh Highlands, an area full of
classic geological localites, many of which inspired geologists
to develop the Theory of Plate Tectonics.

The capstone of the trip was the three-day feld project on the
rocky slopes of Scotland’s Isle of Skye where students used the
mapping skills they mastered on the trip. Aferward, the group
traveled to Loch Coruisk, a beautful natural ford in the heart
Isle of Skye, Scotland of Scotland’s Cuillin Mountains.
