Meader and Reed

were recently selected to join The Maine
Basketball Hall of Fame as members of the
Class of 2015. Inducton ceremonies will
take place Thursday, August 23, 2015, at the Dick Meader ’68

Ramsey Earns All-American Status at USCSA National Championship


Emily Ramsey ’18 placed eighth overall at the annual U.S. Collegiate Ski and
Snowboard Associaton Natonal Championship, held March 2-7, 2015 at Mt. Bachelor
in Oregon. More than 500 compettors rolled into the very challenging Cascade Range
of central Oregon to compete for natonal collegiate ttles in alpine, nordic, and
snowboard/freestyle events.

Ramsey fnished in the top 10 in two of the Nordic heats. In the 7.5k classic race, she
placed 17th. She placed fourth in the Freestyle Sprint, a race so compettve that she
was only one second of the lead pace. She rounded out her partcipaton with a sixth-
place fnish in the 15k Free Skate race. Ramsey also won USCSA Scholar-Athlete and First Team All-American
honors for her Freestyle Sprint performance. She earned a Second Team All-American selecton for her overall
placement.
