McKnight Cabin and McKnight Canyon Road: As is obvious in the McKnight Spring road video, the road from NM-35 up to McKnight Cabin can be long and rough. P. C. Tonne (1999-2010), W. R. Norris (2007-2018), Russ Kleinman (2009-2018), D. H. Pellissior (1971-1974), and K. Kindscher (2007-2016) collected here.
Aspen Canyon: Among the people who collected in this canyon was C. R. (Bob) Hutchins (1980-1990) and Paul Boucher (1993).

Map 3 covers the NM-152 corridor, the major east-west road across the Black Range and the middle section of the Black Range Crest Trail. These two features (the road and the trail) provide access to many hiking (and thus plant viewing) areas in the Black Range.
