The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) issued the original license on April 29, 2022, and was first extended in August, valid until March 31, 2023.

The extension of the license comes after a challenging period for Evraz. The company has been affected by various factors, including the pandemic, geopolitical tensions, and supply chain disruptions. Despite this, Evraz has remained committed to maintaining its operations and has implemented various measures to mitigate the impact of external factors.
