The unemployment forecast has been adjusted downward for 20242026. Unemployment is projected to fall to 2.5% (-0.1 pp) in 2024 before rising slightly to 2.7% (-0.1 pp) in 2025 and 2.9% (-0.1 pp) in 2026. By the end of the horizon, unemployment is expected to return to the 2023 level of 3.0%.
