3.1 Trade dynamics
Exports to remain below 2021 levels in 2025
Export forecasts for 2024-2026 remain largely unchanged, at $470bn for 2024, $475bn (-$3bn) for 2025 and $485bn (-$1bn) for 2026. The estimate for 2027 is $493bn (-$5bn), which is 10% ($57bn) lower than 2021 levels.
Imports see marginal adjustments
Import forecasts also saw minor revisions, with figures of $370bn (+$1bn) for 2024, $382bn (-$3bn) for 2025 and $396bn (-$1bn) for 2026. By 2027, imports are projected to reach $403bn (-$6bn), which is 7% ($26bn) higher than in 2021.
Russia's export revenues have remained fairly stable in 2024
According to the preliminary estimate of the CBR, the value of goods exports in January-October was $350bn, the same as a year earlier.
