6.1 Budget & Debt - Kyrgyzstan

The draft budget for 2023 sees expenditures at 34.7% of GDP and
revenues at 36.4% of GDP.

Fiscal deficits are expected to increase considerably in 2023, according
to IMF projections. The general government deficit, including lending to
energy sector state-owned enterprises, is expected to widen to 5.2% of
GDP in 2022 from 0.8% last year and remain slightly under 5% of GDP
in the medium term.
