The NABU claims that Ukrenergo never received money for the supplied electricity, and the company was also refused to repay the debt by the guarantor bank. “Currently, suspicion has been reported to four persons: the organizer of the scheme, the director of the Ukrenergo department, the head of the board of a commercial bank and the director of a private company,” the report says. The NABU also added that funds in the amount of more than UAH 700mn on the accounts of companies involved in the scheme were seized.

The Zelenskiys made $285,198 in 2021, although almost $141,2789 of that came from the sale of treasury bonds. The 2021 figure was almost $314,827 less than his 2020 income. Zelenskiy's declaration attributed his lower 2022 income to frozen rental agreements as a result of Russia’s full-scale invasion. According to the declaration, in 2021, Zelenskiy finished the registration process for 22 trademarks, having begun it “long before he was elected president.” The full declaration lists several dozen trademarks. Zelenskiy’s number of apartments, vehicles and other assets has not changed. According to his declaration, there are seven entries for apartments and two for vehicles, a Range Rover and a Mercedes.
Ex-Supreme Court chief charged with bribery released on bail, can return to work. Vsevolod Kniaziev, former chairman of the Supreme Court and a suspect in a bribery case, was released from detention after paying Hr 18 million bail ($450,000) on Jan. 31. Kniaziev has been dismissed from his position as the court's chairman but can return to work as an ordinary judge.
