DROP FIBER ENCLOSURE

The Drop Fiber Enclosure is used to facilitate repairs of fiber optic cables. Common fiber sizes
of 8.1mm, 5.4mm and 5.1mm rectangular cables and 5.1mm round cables are accommodated
with the supplies sealing gaskets. Both fusion splices (total of 12) and mechanical splices are
securely positioned within the IP67 rated enclosure. The enclosure can be permanently buried,
mounted on to the side of a building or can be mounted onto a pole utilizing the integrated pole
mounting brackets.

FEATURES
• Allows technician to repair drop cables in FTTx applications • Integrated tabs to position and hold fibers in place
• Direct bury, wall mount or pole mount • Common fiber sizes of 8.1mm, 5.4mm and 5.1mm
• Fusion splice or mechanical splice rectangular cables and 5.1mm round cables
• Up to fourteen fiber capacity • Kit contents:
• Two are required due to no slack and damage to cable –Enclosure
• IP67 rated –Two mechanical splices
–Two gaskets for each of the fiber sizes
