Activities

The SLO has shaped me into the person I am today. It has allowed me harbour my

leadership skills throughout my time at ISC Dubai. The Activities Department is a

crucial part of the school’s daily life. It has taught me a lot more than I thought it

would. Never in a million years did I think that I was capable of being as patient,

organized, responsible, or as creative as I am now.

The Activities Department provides a stress-free environment for students in order

for them to keep their academic lives balanced with their social lives. Ranging from

events to trips to clubs, the amount of ingenuity, time, thought, and effort that go into

this department is truly fascinating. An added bonus are the friendships and bonds

that ensure from working together as a team. Of course, none of this would have

been possible without the help of Mr. Alex. He made sure to turn all our ideas into

reality. He really was the most inspiring, supportive, and easy-going person I worked

with this year and he was the reason behind many miles. Thank you so much to the

Activities Team and to all the prefects for their time and hard work. Last but not least,

thank you to Mr. Halim and Mr. Marc for always supporting and believing in the

students and for helping us create memories that we will cherish forever.
