To think that I’ll be standing in an alphabetically ordered line in a cap
and gown alongside people I’ve grown up with is exhilarating because I
wouldn’t want to share that moment with anyone else. At the same time,
it is hard to imagine that I will no longer be coming to school to see the 8am
faces of my best friends, or takingin the tantalizing aroma of the detention
room. Be grateful for everything around you because one day you’ll be
counting the number of days left until you finally leave this second home.
Thank you to Farah Nabil El Saadi for tolerating me through ten years of
friendship. *mic drop*
