I feel like we have spent so much of our time and energy focusing on attaining a bright
future that we sometimes forget how important and beautiful living in the moment is.
Now that I think about it, I don’t think I told my parents I loved them and appreciated them
as much as I should have. So, to my mom, I would like to say : thank you for being my best
friend and confidante. Our souls are connected in unimaginable ways that cannot be done
justice in a sentence or two. To my dad : you are my role model. You are where you are now
due to your incessant motivation to work harder and lead wiser. You have told me from day
one the only measure of success is hard work, and I swear to you I will do my best to live by
your words. To ISC and the teachers that have taught me here: Thank you for the best 12
years of my life. This is literally my second home. You have motivated me and pushed me
to achieve my best, and the opportunities I have received to be a part of something for the
greater good of the school (SLO) are rare and I keep the memories I have formed over the
years close to my heart. Also shoutout to the SNAARZ queens : you guys have been by my
side forever and I can’t begin to imagine life without you girls by my side.

As much as we all say that we’re so done and tired with this
exhausting curriculum, we aren’t going to know how much we’ll
miss it until we’re actually gone. I can’t believe I’ve lived through
13 years of SABIS and actually came out alive. My time in this
school was a blast and I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better
high school experience. There are people that I met in this school
that I absolutely love and would never forget and I’m so grateful.
Thank you to all those special people, the best staff, amazing
teachers, and to everyone I’ve ever communicated with. I can’t
believe I am finally saying this, but CONGRATS CLASS OF 2018!!!!!
