Favorite quote: "The ultimate tragedy is not
the oppression and cruelty by the bad people,
but the silence over that by the good people."
- Martin Luther King Jr.
Firstly, I'd like to start off by thanking my family
for everything that they've done for me, because
everything I am today is a result of the effort
they've put in throughout my life. The one thing
that kept me in school despite all the times that I
considered leaving, are my friends, who have
become more than just friends to me, but more like
my brothers and sisters. And last but not least, I'd
like to thank all my teachers who have truly given
us their best all these years. It's been a long journey
with lots of ups and downs, but a journey that I am
glad I was a part of as it has made me into who I
am today. Thank you to all the people who have
helped me along the way. And to all my friends: I
love you very much.

Favorite quote: “You can learn something
from everyone, even the tea boy.” - My
mother
Change. It is not something I fear as I have learnt to
adjust to it. I grew up constantly moving schools,
either due to my parents’ jobs or because I chose to.
Moving around 5 different schools exposed me to
various experiences which were amazing and
horrible. We all start off painting our own canvas

that I have met and all the experiences that I have
been exposed to have contributed to that painting.
Now I am about to move away to a completely
different country, away from my family and
friends. It is time once again to pack my canvas and
continue painting with different colors and strokes. I
hope I have added color and meaning to other
people’s canvases. When my canvas is complete, I
want it to not have been a waste of paint and time.
