Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School
South Campus
Substantial progress has been made at Bishop Noland Episcopal
Day School’s South Campus, located at 5665 North Gray Market
Drive. The Commons center is framed; slabs for the classrooms,
band room, and choral room have been poured; the steel for the
competition gymnasium is in place. We are anticipating all build-
ings to be enclosed by winter. Bishop Noland Episcopal Day
School’s Capital Campaign, Advancing the Vision, has raised 80%
in gifts and pledges toward the overall project goal of $10 million.
In phase II, the goal is to raise $2 million in order to fully fund the
capital project.
The new middle and upper school facilities will be designed to em-
brace 21st century learning with 5 core classrooms, 3 STEAM (Sci-
ence, Technology, Engineering, Art + Design, and Mathematics)
classrooms, 1 band instructional space and 1 choral instructional
space. Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School will be the first high
school in the Lake Charles area to offer a progressive and highly
individualized curriculum. The curriculum is being designed to
prepare future leaders with problem-solving skills that qualify them
to assist in the continuing development of Southwest Louisiana.
As construction continues, every additional dollar raised will re-
duce the amount the school is required to finance and will elevate
the facilities for the future students. Permanent naming opportuni-
ties are available at many gift levels. Please contact Callie Thomas,
Director of Advancement, (337) 433-5246, to discuss opportunities
for advancing with Bishop Noland Episcopal Day School.
