TAX INFORMATION The Internal Revenue Service, under Section 170 (f)(8) of the Internal
Revenue Code, requires that we provide you with the following information. For income
tax purposes, you may only deduct the difference between your contribution and the
estimated fair market value for each item, which will be printed on the purchaser’s
invoice.

PURCHASES All sales are final. All items have been donated to Bishop Noland Episcopal
Day School and are sold “as is.” Every effort has been made to describe the items
completely and accurately. All items must be claimed or used within one year of the date
of the Auction, unless otherwise specified. Some items have specific deadlines. The buyer
should contact the donor to arrange the date and time of mutual convenience for those
items donated “on a mutually agreeable date.” These arrangements should be made
within 60 days of the Auction.
