408 First Grade Beach Day
Enjoy a day of fun on the beach with Mrs. Vasquez and Mrs.
Meche out at Johnson Bayou on the shores of the Gulf of
Mexico. We will supply food, drinks, and sand toys. We will
set a date in the spring. Open to all first grade boys and girls
and their families. The cost is $30 per student.

409 EDS Back to School Night at L’Auberge
This family favorite is back! Get ready for school books,
schedules and dive into fun with your EDS friends at
L’Auberge. $150 per family includes a hotel room for up to
4 guests and 4 passes to the award-winning pool and lazy
river complex. Valid for Sunday, August 4, 2019 only.

410 3rd Grade Pizza and Painting Party
Come spend an evening with the third grade teachers and
enjoy painting, pizza, and pajamas. We will be painting
canvases together and decorating them EDS-third grade-
style! Open to third graders only. The date is Date is TBA.
The cost is $50 per student.

411 Santa’s Teddy Bear Tea
Santa has scheduled a special stop right here in Lake Charles
and just in time to get your little ones into the Christmas
spirit. Join us Sunday, December 16th from 3pm-5pm at
Walnut Grove’s Majestic Ballroom to experience a magical
winter wonderland, complete with a visit (and photos) with
Santa himself! In addition to a printed photo with Santa
and a keepsake teddy bear, you and your children will also
enjoy sweet and savory treats, hot chocolate, mimosa bars,
and live entertainment. This is sure to become a holiday
tradition so join us for the first Santa’s Teddy Bear Tea. This
extra special event is limited to 80 people and cost is $50
per ticket (every child and adult must have a ticket).
