 bring in relaxation and open space to the brain and nervous system which had been so shocked. In a minute or so her breathing was noticeably different and her shoulders had relaxed somewhat. I moved one step closer and waited again for her body to acknowledge relaxation. It did.
I measured her living feld. In a wounded person, the feld shrinks and is smaller than the body. When a person is relaxed and healthy, the feld expands and is bigger than the body. Some people call this living feld the Aura, or Presence feld. To me it is the basic unit of health. It is also where we get back in touch with the world that responds to the wholeness of our consciousness.
As her body/mind relaxed, her feld restored to normal size. I shifted the intention in my light to call her feld out to an even bigger state. Invariably, a bigger feld carries both a deeper sense of well -being and also the comfort of being well protected. Her feld grew another half meter or so.
Then I sat a meter in front of her and shone a green light in the direction of her heart. Two more breaths, longer and slower than before, came out and there was some slight moisture around her eyes. Her head frst dropped out a little, and then straightened up. Suddenly she was sitting tall in her seat. I used the green light to call and expand the heartfeld. It was no problem. She had a naturally big heart. I waited another minute with this, and then turned off the light and sat quietly with her.
After some minutes, Ben asked, “How is it for you Diana?”
She picked up the blackboard and wrote, “I feel like I have been in a Zen monastery for the last thirty years.”
I asked for her writing pad and wrote, “Welcome home.”
She wrote, “How can such a little bit of light have such a deep effect?”
I wrote back, “We are all made of light. We come from light and return to light.”
She smiled and offered me a hug.
A couple of weeks later Ben told me, “She was a different person after the session. No more depression, no more anxiety. On her way home now.”
