4.1 DOME

The dome consists of 2 parts—the exterior geodesic dome and the interior projection dome. The exterior geodesic dome establishes the shape of the ceiling and provides structural support; the interior dome functions as a projection screen providing a canvas for projection art. The dome concept was chosen because it represents the constantly expanding and infnite cosmos. Just like Mother Nature or the Universe, the dome shape is forgiving, as there are no edges and boundaries. The cosmos teaches us that we all share the same origin, yet it also reminds us that each individual has their own destiny.
4.2 MULTIMEDIA PROJECTION (COLOR AND SOUND)
Artistic and dynamic forms of multimedia are projected from the central pillar and onto the interior projection dome, similar to a planetarium theater. Reminiscent of Joseph Campbell's "hero's journey," the featured flm journeys through each of the 7 chakras—from root to head and utilizes the full color spectrum. Working in tandem with a 360° mirror covering the central pillar, the flm presents a story about a seed discovering its soul. Immerse yourself in the seed’s journey to a new cosmic realm and meeting it’s “higher self." “Your higher self is within you and is the highest form of your consciousness contained in the physical body. It can move among the gates of space and time" (Barbara Davis-Thompson).
Through fgurative and imaginative imagery, the video blurs the known and the unknown—the visible and invisible. And, by entering into the shimmering infnity mirror, there is a spiritual adventure awaiting as guests are transported to netherworlds from regions of the brain beyond ordinary consciousness. The infnity mirror beckons with a wordless invitation, "Walk into me. Let me show you dimensions beyond where your ordinary mind can take you."
