4.3 LIGHT SHOWER PODS
Around the perimeter of the Soularium structure, reside a total of 6, equidistant columns of light. From a bird’s-eye view, the circular column tops form the circles or vertices of "sacred geometry," symbols based on ancient wisdom. These columns are "light shower pods" designed for those who would prefer a more individual or private experience. Alternating between each pod are benches for seating, refection, and contemplation. The pods may represent a sort of cocoon of self-awareness. In these personal nooks, the Soularium guests have the opportunity to awaken the light of the “third eye”.
Based on chromotherapy methodologies, the pods use light and color to activate and affect a person's mental, physical, and/or spiritual health. In the Soularium, the pods impart a beautiful therapeutic coloring experience.
Through lighting spread beyond the cocoon and into the collective space of the Solarium, the light shower pods give a sense of cohesiveness. Furthermore, the pods form part of the walls of the Solarium structure.
