THE LEGEND ABOUT GUSEBALD
It was a sunny May day. A beautiful princess
Gustebald went by the Łyna river. She looked at
the water and noticed a goldfish swimming
towards the bank, followed by a large pike with its
mouth open. Only two waves separated it from
this little fish.
The princess saw this and threw the stone
between the two fish. The frightened pike fled
away, and the goldfish swam to the feet of the
beautiful princess. - I am the daughter of the fish
king. Thank you for saving me from the pike's
mouth- the fish said and swam away.
