Gediminas really liked that explanation of the dream and he
built a castle on the hill. Later he moved to live there and built the city
- Vilnius, the future capital. The name came from the river Vilnia. The
city grew strong and rich, a lot of famous men were born there.
And to this day Vilnius stands just as big and beautiful as it used to be.
