When night came, everyone was tired and they all gathered on a
hill. The servants collected all of the dead animals. There were moose
with big horns, wolves and furry bears. Duke Gediminas fought off a huge
bison. Everyone was in awe- no one ever saw such a huge beast. The
servants lit a fire, built the tents and made dinner. Home was far away,
but the night was warm and quiet. The place was wonderful - the hill was
overgrown with old oaks and white birches and on the hillside flew river
Neris. Therefore, they decided to stay there for the night.
