What does APPNA stand for (the first thought came into my mind) and here comes the reply by Doctor Sajid ,
The name APPNA (means) “YOUR OWN” (appna in urdu or hindi), which is an Association of Physicians of
Pakistani Descent of North America, who are associated with medical disciplines like physicians, Pharmaceuti-
cal Companies, Health related research fellows, and Health care technology field to name a few from USA and
Canada.

While Mrs. Rubina Inayat extending her helping hand to look after the matters pertaining to communication
committee (as chair of the committee), and as a member of the host committee to arrange the recent convention.
Also, she is the chair of the entertainment committee for summer convention, besides looking after the media
related issues and social media events pertaining to APPNA.
When asked about the Free Clinic organized by APPNA, Dr. Sajid informed that currently 12 clinics are in op-
eration around different Cities of USA including a recently opened in Kissimmee. They are planning to add 10
more clinics before year end. The main objective in establishing these clinics is to provide free healthcare facil-
ities for the local communities irrespective of race, gender and religion. These clinics are operated by the Paki-
